Children's Behavior while Shopping with their Parents
Literature suggests that children acquire social behaviors by being provided with opportunities to exhibit those behaviors. The main advantages of surveys are that information that is required is collected quickly, and it is relatively cheap. Disadvantages associated with surveys are that they may provide superficial findings, and this may tamper with the research.
It is necessary for parents to understand their kids for effective nurturing and guidance of the kids. Parents should be aware that kids have unique personalities that are consistent throughout in life. It is crucial for parents to take note of the inappropriate shopping behaviors that children may be having. After taking note of these behaviors, parents need to have time to talk to their kids about the manner of conducting themselves. Kids require more body language, facial expression and less verbal language in order to understand. Parents are required to be good role models to their kids (Greene & Risley, 1977).

Other ways that can help instill appropriate shopping behaviors in kids include praising the kids when they are good and seeking help from specialists when things get out of hand.
